Sea Inspired Wedding

The absolute most adorable couple
met at the chapel this afternoon
and vowed to love each other forever...

and I was invited
to be apart of their
awesome celebrations!

The Cake

Fresh banana cake decorated in blue ombre buttercream, white buttercream coral, edible "sand" and white chocolate sea shells. My favorite accent to the cake are those adorable little "kissing" goldfish.

The Cupcakes
{Esty Shop where I bought cupcake wrappers}
Unbirthday Cake - Confetti cake topped with sour cream chocolate frosting and more sweet sprinkles!

Lemon Cream Pie - Vanilla bean cake filled with zesty lemon curd and topped with vanilla cream cheese frosting and lemon infused sugar.

Banana Pudding - Fresh banana cake topped with vanilla cream cheese frosting, toasted pecans and a caramel drizzle.
Savannah Belle - Southern red velvet cake topped with vanilla cream cheese frosting, a white chocolate sea shell and edible "sand."

The Favors

Sugar cookies adorned with two fondant goldfish {in love, of course} and white chocolate "bubbles." I finished them with a little disco dust for sparkle!

Ree and Lance were
some of the sweetest clients
and deserve nothing but the best!

I truely hope they enjoyed the cake
as much as I enjoyed creating it for them!
Super cute theme, huh!?

Elegant Seashell Cupcake Tower

A super sweet couple were married Saturday ... and I enjoyed being apart of their celebrations!

After their beach ceremony, the guests were escorted into the Ocean Reef Resort - off 71st Ave in Myrtle - where the beautiful ballroom awaited...

The couple decided on a simple, but elegant look for their Cupcake Tower. The flavors included Vanilla Bean and Dark Chocolate Fudge. All cupcakes were frosted in Vanilla Buttercream and topped with edible "sand" and a White Chocolate or Dark Chocolate Sea Shell.

The topper cake was Marble in flavor and also frosted in Vanilla Buttercream. The textured buttercream design can be found all throughout bridal magazines at the moment - very chic, very elegant. To finish off the cake, edible "sand" was added for a little sparkle and a bride and groom chocolate starfish accented the tiers.

When I returned to help clean up and break down my area, I was able to talk with the newly weds. {Which is a rare treat!} They were absolutely delighted with the results!

Congratulations to the Poston's!! I wish your family all the best in the world! Thank you so much for inviting me in on your special celebrations!

Mark and Sara's Wedding

A few months ago, a super sweet couple got in touch with me about their wedding cake...but they really wanted something different. I {of course!} suggested gourmet cupcakes! They loved the idea!!

So, at their tasting we came up with the menu and theme. With a beach theme in mind, we decided to add seashells, sand and the colors blue and green...but, the
bride-to-be did not want them all to look the same. She told me how much she liked each cake's "own little personality!" {She put that so perfectly - exactly how I feel!} So, this is what I designed for her:

The topper was my Fresh Banana Cake filled and topped with Vanilla Buttercream. The buttercream coral and chocolate sea shells incorporated their theme.

The cupcake flavors included Vanilla Bean, Pumpkin Spice, Banana Walnut, Smore's, Chocolate Fluffanutter and Sugar & Spice.

I also labeled one cupcake per flavor and displayed them under a glass dome in order for the guests to be able to tell one from another.

Thank you so much for inviting me to be apart of your special day! I am excited about how your cupcake tower turned out - cute as a button! Congratulations to you both!
