How incredibly cute are the Family Rules signs floating around blog land?
I bookmarked this post by My Repurposed Life like 6 months ago...and I've finally gotten around to making mine!
Here's how it turned out:
I bought the navy long frame from Goodwill a while back. {$3 and I didn't even have to paint it - wow, right!} I tossed around several ideas for it's use and where to put it when I started work on the new, INSIDE Laundry/Play Room.
It's the perfect place to hang our little reminders! :)
Here's how I did it:
- Mod Podged that awesome houndstooth paper to the back of my frame.
- Drew our the rules with a pencil and painted over it in black.
- Glued on some fun accessories...and I was done!
The painting was a little time consuming, but overall it was pretty simple...and I love how it turned out!
