I have been collecting and compiling wooden, wire and metal letters...as well as supplies to make letters...for about 7 months now. And I finally have the Alphbet Wall completed in my son's play room.
The room doubles as my laundry room, so there's a slight nautical theme. For that reason, I went with hues of blue and red...and used many boat and ocean related things to act as letters!
Taa Daa!
I tried my very hardest to do this on the cheap! {Your very welcome, my dearest hubby! ;)} I wanted to add a price breakdown to show you - I tried to remember exacts, but some are approximate costs.
I'm in love with the way this turned out! It was such a BIG, boring blank wall...and now it's so fun!
{And, educational, right!}

I am INLOVE with this! My husband and I do not have any children yet...but I am definitely going to start collecting letters NOW! One of my favorite ideas ever (I'm a Kinder teacher)! :-P Thanks for sharing!
*Any tips for a new crafter?? Please leave advise for me on my new blog @ craftingourwaytoaprettierlife.blogspot.com
THANKS!
This is very cool!!! My dd is going to teach (in 3 yrs) and I think I may start this collection for her. She'll need all the help she can get with her classroom :-)
That is fabulous!
I love this! So cute! I'm your newest follower and am loving your blog!
I LOVE this. I can't believe you were able to make it for so little money. I'm working on a Knight theme for my son's room and now you have my wheels turning. I wonder if I could fit something like this in. Hmmmm, where's my nearest flea market?
Saw you on the One Month to Win It auditions. Cute wall, the nautical theme is perfect for a laundry area!
LOVE IT!! Thanks for auditioning for OMTWI! :)
