A classmate from highschool was married June 4th, 2011 to the love of her life in Florence, SC. Her evening reception took place at the Florence Little Theater and was decked out in beautiful lime and powder blue hues.
I was super excited when I got the email telling me she wanted to set up a Cake Tasting! We met ... they chose their favorite flavors ... the decorations were decided on ... and before we all knew it, the big day was here!
Here is how her 5 tier cake turned out:
This was alternating Lemon Pound Cake with Blueberry Preserve Filling and Almond Pound Cake with Caramel Filling. The whole thing was covered in Vanilla Buttercream, including the lace design decor. The boarder was done in a lime ribbon and blue hydrangeas were perfect accents to this simple cake.
Notice these adorable topper people!? Aren't they great!!
I also provided the party favors - Initial Sugar Cookies
These were my basic sugar cookies topped with my Marshmallow Fondant. The couple's initial was placed in the center in lime.
A big THANK YOU! goes out to my wonderful couple!! I had a blast creating your wedding goodies - I surely do hope they were enjoyed by all!
Congratulations!
Congratulations!
